Expos, Trade Fairs & Exhibitions in Kolkata
18 events coming up across Kolkata — mostly expo (18). 3 are free.
Kolkata's big exhibitions use a small set of grounds. Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan, the fairground opposite Science City that most people still call Milan Mela, has close to 32,000 square metres of exhibition space and takes the largest industrial and consumer shows. The Science City grounds and convention halls next door, Netaji Indoor Stadium and the Biswa Bangla Convention Centre in New Town host trade fairs, education and property expos and wedding and lifestyle exhibitions. The best-attended fair of all is the International Kolkata Book Fair at Boimela Prangan in Salt Lake, scheduled for 22 January to 3 February 2027, which draws more than two million visitors. December to February is the main season for consumer fairs and handicraft and handloom expos. Most consumer shows charge a small entry fee or none. This page lists expos and trade fairs.
