About City Centre Salt Lake

City Centre in DC Block is Salt Lake's shopping and meeting place, an open-plan mall of streets, courtyards and terraces rather than a sealed box. Shops, a multiplex, restaurants and cafés are arranged around a sunken central plaza that works as a public square, and that plaza is where the mall stages its events: live music evenings, festive markets, Christmas and Puja programmes, children's activities and brand promotions. Because the layout is open to the street, people use it as a place to sit and meet even when they are not shopping. The Green Line station named after it is at the mall's edge.
